Are your presentations sticky?

Garr Reynolds breaks down the basic principles of "sticky ideas" today in his post in which he recommends the book Made to Stick by Chip Heath and Dan Heath.

The acronym SUCCESs spells out the six attributes of sticky ideas: Simplicity, Unexpectedness, Concreteness, Credibility, Emotions, and Stories.

Read his post for explanations of each concept and then ask yourself if your presentations meet these criteria.

Of course, reading the book is probably better, and it's been on my list for a while. (By the way, here's a great resource for trading books for free - I'm 59th on the waiting list for "Made to Stick," so I'll probably end up buying it before that many become available!)
