Don't try and you won't fail

Following up on my recent blog post about sucking it up, Olivia Mitchell pointed out this post on Stepcase Lifehack about challenging our children.

When you see challenges as "bad," you avoid them. You fear failing, so you never even try.

You can also reframe a challenge as "good," as an opportunity to learn something new and an opportunity to grow.

Without challenges, we stagnate. We become stale, safe and overly cautious.

Embrace your challenges. You may not love the process, but the process is as important as the results.

Sometimes you will fail. So what? You'll get over it. Life goes on. You'll gain experience and you'll be a stronger person for it.

What challenges are you avoiding right now?
