Gibberish, jargon and an enraged rhinoceros

Ed Barks points to a Gene Weingarten column in the Washington Post where Weingarten's attempt to give PR people a taste of their own medicine backfires.

You know how I feel about jargon and clichés, so you probably also can imagine that I feel a kinship with Mr. Weingarten - and anyone else who fights cluttered language.

Nobody's perfect, and we all fall into the habit of using clichés and jargon from time to time (did you notice how many clichés I used in this post?).

But we can all do better, and some business writing, in particular, is just over the top. As you'll see in the Weingarten column. Where the rhinoceros is mentioned. Enjoy!
