Mr Rogers - the best neighbor ever

I just had to post a link to this lovely post about Mr. Rogers. Thanks to Andy Wibbels for mentioning it.

If you decide to read this article by Tom Junod, and watch this video of Fred Rogers receiving a lifetime achievement award at the Daytime Emmys, you might want to have some tissues handy.

Reading about him and hearing him speak makes me feel disappointed in myself that I'm not being the best person I can be. I can do better, and I will!

Are you an entrepreneur or professional who's looking for better results from your speaking? Are you hoping to build credibility and visibility for your business or cause? I saw A&E's Biography of Mr. Rogers. It was inspiring. He is an amazing "lead by example" kind of person.

Thanks for your comment, Jacki. I was so moved by everything I read about him today. I knew he was an ordained minister and I knew he was a vegetarian, and I knew he advocated for children, but that's about all I knew. He was a really special man.

He used to freak me out as a young child but as I grow older and learn more and more about him he was a great man :)
