What kind of response do you prefer?

I'm curious about this. When I post a comment on someone's blog, I love to receive a reply in the comments section from the blogger. It kind of keeps the conversation going (and makes people wonder why there are so many comments). But sometimes people e-mail me to respond, and that's cool, too. I guess the only response I don't like is no response.

How about you? Do you prefer a personal e-mail or a reply in the comments section where you've posted?

Personally, I prefer to email back.

The problem I have with responding back in the comment section is that not everyone has time to keep checking back with a blog. I know I hardly ever go back to a previous post that I've commented on.

Good point, Carrie. It's a lot of work to remember where I left comments and to go back to see if anyone has responded. Maybe responding by e-mail AND in the comments is best! As I did with your comment. :-)

I don't expect much just a simple comment left after mine saying something like "That was the most insightful piece of wisdom ever to have been written in the blogosphere! Bravo!!"

: )

Well, bro, if you don't have your own blog or profile, no one will be able to e-mail you or visit your blog in return anyway! Hint, hint.
